CE has released the 2023 version of EN 50360/EN 50566 regulations, and BTL will quickly explain the requirements of the new regulations for you.

A. Firstly, the fast SAR regulation of EN IEC 62209-3, which has been published for a long time, has also been included in the recognized testing regulations. This is equivalent to the future CE SAR testing, which will be able to use the fast SAR system for testing and certification. The regulation is expected to be introduced in June 2025.

At present, CE has preliminarily agreed to include rapid SAR in the recognized testing regulations. In future testing, the speed can be accelerated, but it still needs to be noted that Europe is gradually increasing its efforts in SAR sampling, and the testing systems used for sampling will not be limited to rapid SAR systems or traditional probe SAR systems. Therefore, when shipping products, BTL still recommends testing and verification in both current systems to ensure that the products meet regulatory requirements.

SEYA has both a fast SAR (cSAR System) and a traditional probe (DASY SAR System) system, which can assist customers in conducting complete sampling verification during shipment. If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to inquire.
